A breast cancer survivor since 2000, Marilyn is a passionate advocate for early detection, and she continually stives to make a positive impact in her local community and across the United States. Since 2011, she has raised over $110,000 for Susan G. Komen; raising awareness and money by walking 33 3-day, 60-mile events, with numbers 34 and 35 coming up later this year. Her grandson and his wife will be doing their inaugural walk in San Diego this year! In 2024, she received the Pink Ribbon Award for Excellence from the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition. Marilyn’s teamwork is characterized by excellence, joy, and enthusiasm for building meaningful relationships. Her laughter and self-deprecating humor are well-known.
Marilyn lives in Camp Hill, PA with her husband Peter Smith. They have four children, three grandchildren, and numerous grand dogs , grand cats, and a grand bearded dragon named Flash McCrawley.
An endurance junkie by nature and best friend of a passionate breast cancer survivor, Jayne endeavors to help find a cure to end breast cancer for the next generation. She has raised over $22,000 for Susan G. Komen; raising awareness and money by training and walking 6 3-day, 60-mile events, with number 7 coming up later this year. Jayne walks because she must. She is a wife, mother, newly retired lawyer, former fitness instructor and an advocate for women’s health.
Jayne lives with her husband Mike Blake in Mechanicsburg, PA. They have four children (two sons-in-law) and a granddaughter; each a good human.
After 34 years in Federal Law enforcement, Donna retired in 2017. Inspired by her mother’s breast cancer diagnosis at age 83, Donna became a passionate advocate for the breast cancer community. She believes there is a future where breast cancer no longer steals our loved ones and friends from us. She has completed the Susan G. Komen 3-Day, 60-mile walk twice since 2020 and will participate in her third walk this November, having raised $12,600 so far. She trains year-round with her Boobs Without Borders teammates around the Pennsylvania capital area. She is an intrepid trekker whose boots have carried her across Nepal, Bhutan, Argentina, Peru, and the rim-to-rim across the Grand Canyon in 2024 and plans to do that again in October this year.
Donna lives in Dillsburg with her wife Jan Rushing and their crazy, loveable seven-year-old Labrador Retrievers.
